🔹 Position Overview
Fission Grid Electromechanical Services LLC is seeking a motivated Junior Testing & Commissioning Engineer to support commissioning activities for LV & MV electrical systems at project sites. The role offers hands-on exposure to electrical testing, transformer testing, and system commissioning under the guidance of senior engineers, ensuring safe and reliable execution of all site activities.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
⚡ Testing & Commissioning Support
- Assist in testing of LV/MV switchgear, circuit breakers, and protection relays
- Support commissioning of AIS & GIS panels (including Unigear systems)
- Assist in transformer testing activities such as insulation resistance, ratio checks, and basic electrical testing
- Support testing of CTs, VTs, busbar systems, and related electrical components
📋 Site Execution Support
- Assist senior engineers in day-to-day commissioning activities
- Follow site procedures, safety standards, and testing instructions
- Support coordination with site teams, contractors, and supervisors
- Ensure compliance with IEC standards and project requirements
🔧 Installation & Verification Support
- Assist in verification of wiring, cabling, and equipment installation
- Support functional checks and basic system validation activities
- Ensure installation compliance with approved drawings and FAT documents
🛠️ Troubleshooting & Learning
- Assist in identifying basic technical issues during site activities
- Learn troubleshooting techniques under supervision of senior engineers
- Support in documenting site observations and findings
📑 Documentation & Reporting
- Assist in preparation of test sheets and commissioning reports
- Support documentation of transformer and system test results
- Maintain proper records of site activities and test data

- Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality at all times
- Follow instructions with a “first-time-right” execution approach
- Develop technical skills through hands-on site experience
🔹 Requirements
🎓 Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (BE/BTech) in Electrical Engineering
- 0–3 years of experience in electrical field (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
🧠 Technical Skills
Basic understanding of:
- LV/MV electrical systems and components
- Electrical drawings (SLD, schematics, wiring diagrams)
- Transformer basics and basic transformer testing concepts
- Familiarity with basic testing tools (multimeter, insulation tester, etc.)
🤝 Soft Skills
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Good safety awareness and discipline on site
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
